How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who contacts Apparentlyselling Remodeling to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Raise With Us

You can reach out about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Apparentlyselling Remodeling
  • The way we handled your personal information
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If Your Concern Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, pricing, work and customer service. If a remodeling project hits a problem, the usual first step is to talk to the provider directly and keep a written record of what was said.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Apparentlyselling Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, or act for a provider.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@apparentlyselling.living and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear description of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm by email that we received your complaint, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will tell you what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our response does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For a problem with a contractor, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
